He spent over 20 years with KLM Airlines, Qatar Airways and Blue Bird Logistics working across a variety of Customer Service and Operational roles. Tarun gained invaluable operational experience in airfreight with KLM and Qatar Airways covering a global client base. Tarun has been with SurgePort Logistics since inception, with the responsibility as the Head of Airfreight, Trade lane operations and pricing and heads the CRM division.
Tarun’s skills include pricing management, demand planning, Commercial coordination and logistics planning.
Lawrence Royen brings extensive Ocean Freight Logistics and Procurement expertise to SurgePort Logistics, having worked in senior roles in a career spanning over 3 decades in various multinational freight and brokerage companies. Lawrence in his capacity for Strategic Business Development and procurement is not only responsible for sourcing and procuring best ocean freight rates but is equally responsible to ensure that he chooses the best shipping services amongst various carriers available in the market in line with our customers’ requirements and reliability of service. For Lawrence, procuring ocean shipping services is a constant challenge and he ensures to meet this challenge with meticulous planning, preparation and market intelligence to ensure sharp pricing and effective capacity management.
